These red and green Tatung Steamer Miniature is available in the US exclusively through Yun Hai, an official Tatung distributor.
While they are not electric and therefore cannot be plugged in for use, you can cook with it. The inner lining is a 1-cup removable stainless steel vessel that can be used as a ramekin for small dishes—like steamed eggs—in a full-size Tatung or stovetop steamer. Or, simply use the mini steamer as a storage box for small household or pantry items. We’ve had one in our store since opening day, and it's one of our most requested items. Even Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-Wen pointed it out when she visited.
Yun Hai has partnered with Tatung Company to bring the original pea green and vermillion red colors to the US, invoking fond memories of many a happy childhood meal.
