Inspired by Taiwanese street food, Dracula Paprika is a bold and flavorful all-purpose seasoning with a spicy kick. The chinese name 十味麻成香 translates to "ten spices transforming numbing into fragrant," referring to the Sichuan peppercorn and unique spice mix.

Its complexity and coarse texture, reminiscent of Japanese togarashi, comes from over ten spices and herbs, including numbing Sichuan peppercorn, nutty white sesame, umami kombu, fresh and dried chili peppers, and anisette licorice.

We love it sprinkled over snacks like popcorn chicken and fries, just as much as we enjoy it incorporated into main dishes like dry noodles or fried rice. It's one of our favorite things to have around to improv with. We love it so much, we incorporated it into the BBQ tofu episode of our Taiwanese cooking show, where we sprinkle it over barbecued baiye tofu skewers.

Tasting Notes and Usage

Fruity and heady, like a dried ancho pepper, with nuttiness from peanut and sesame, citrus tingle of sichuan peppercorn, and an umami punch from the kelp.

Sprinkle over French fries and fried chicken, incorporate it into your dry noodles, use it to season popcorn, or even mix it into your hot pot dipping sauce. In our Taiwanese cooking show, Cooking With Steam, we sprinkle a liberal amount of Dracula Paprika over barbecued tofu skewers.

Dried chilies, rapeseed oil, kombu powder, Sichuan peppercorn, black pepper, peanut, white sesame, liquiritigenin (licorice sweetener), soybean, salt, sugar.

No artificial food coloring. No preservatives.

After opening the seal, close the lid tightly after each use. Store in a cool, dry place.
