TATUNG ELECTRIC STEAMERS
A Taiwanese Classic
The Tatung is not a rice cooker that can do a few other things; it is a countertop steamer that incidentally makes excellent rice. Known in Taiwan as Dian Guo 電鍋 (electric pot), this appliance’s virtue lies in its simplicity.
We’re honored to partner with Tatung Company in Taiwan to offer the original red and green colorways of the Tatung Electric Rice Cooker and Steamer in the United States. These beautiful and so-very-Taiwan colors are exclusively available through us.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The Yun Hai online shop is lovely. I received my Tatung multi-cooker very quickly and it was beautifully packaged. Consider buying the whole bundle as it makes using this amazing appliance even more enjoyable. The green is a delightful color in my kitchen and my guess is that the red would be too.

CAN’T BE BEAT
I have bought two of these, one for myself and one for my mother. These really can’t be beat with versatility and I love that they are stainless steel. This is an item where if you know you know. Love it.

BEAUTIFUL AND USEFUL
This is honestly just a really beautiful appliance and it is so easy to use! I really wanted a steel interior to avoid nonstick chemicals and it's very easy to clean.
TATUNG FAQs
The 6-cup is a smaller size that has the same functionality as the 11-cup, but fits less. For example, instead of using a whole fish for steamed fish, you might need to use a fillet. It’s a great size for an individual who loves to cook, a couple, or a small family. Or, if you want to save on counter space.
The 11-cup is a great size for a mid- to large-sized household or even an individual who loves to host. It can make rice for your day-to-day, but also scale up for a party in a pinch.
Yes. Each rice cooker comes with a limited one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Details are provided in the Tatung user manual, which is included in every package.
Yes. The Table of Rice to Water Cooking Ratios is located in the Tatung user manual, which is included in every package. This table is a general suggestion for short-grain white rice. Depending on the type of rice used and the desired texture, the amount of water may need to be adjusted.
Please note: the Tatung rice cup refers to the rice cup provided in the box. It holds 180 ml (different than a US cup measure).
