Black Sesame Russian
Black sesame pound cake, black sesame latte, black sesame tang yuan, black sesame paste drizzled on ice cream, the list goes on. We're self proclaimed black sesame diehards and feel it deserves a place of honor in your drink and dessert rotation.
The Black Sesame Russian is a rich and creamy drink made with Kahlua, vodka, cream, and black sesame paste. The subtle bitterness of the black sesame paste cuts through the rich dairy components of the drink while bringing a nutty depth (and a dose of antioxidants) to the whole thing.

Ingredients
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz kahlua
- ½ oz Dong He Unsweetened Black Sesame Paste
- 1 oz heavy cream
Instructions
- Whisk together black sesame (try to get more solids and minimize oil), vodka, and kahlua.
- Mix in a glass with ice and top with heavy cream. Brutta ma buona!
